He tailors his trips to fit what species you need to expand your life list. If for some reason you miss an expected species on one of his trips he's willing to e-mail you alternative locations so that you can find it on your own.

It has been my great fortune during the past two years to have been able to associate with Tim Avery on several bird photography expeditions. His skills and knowledge of birding have enriched my knowledge and broadened my horizons in this wonderful field; his experience seems to be unlimited. Field Trips with Tim to Antelope Island, Lytle Ranch Preserve, and Farmington Wildlife Preserve, were fun experiences and vastly increased my bird photography collection.
